My site is seeing this Briefly unavailable for scheduled maintenance. Check back in a minute. I also cannot see this new version of WordPress for my website just the old one with the black left side bar.

Looks like you’re in the wrong forum. It appears that you’re using the self-hosted version of WordPress and you need to seek help at the WordPress.org forums:
