Every blog is an independent website and what you do on it has no impact on any other site.
To delete a WordPress.COM hosted blog you must be logged in as Admin under the exact same username account that registered the blog to navigate to Dashboard > Tools > Delete Site. The guide is here http://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/

I’m not even sure which email address this site is attached to.
If you check each and every possible email address and account and are not successful gaining access to the blog(s) then you must complete the form for account recovery at this link https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery and submit it to the Account Recovery Staff, and provide proof ownership, so they can contact you by email ie. not on these public support forums, which are available to everyone with internet access.
Support Staff cannot breach the privacy policy and provide the log-in information. You have to provide proof ownership to Account Recovery Staff to gain access https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/

Note that southwindsorhistory.org is hosted by MyHosting, not by wordpress.COM. There is no domain mapping upgrade for southwindsorhistory.org here at. If you would like to use this domain you will first need to set up domain mapping.
Please clarify exactly what you want to do.

Well, that is my problem. Someone else set up this site and used myhosting.com instead of going directly to wordpress.
What do you suggest…. how can i close down the site at MyHosting and move all to wordpress? -

First, choose a plan here:
https://wordpress.com/plansThen use the domain credit at https://wordpress.com/domains to add your domain.
Then, log in where you bought the domain (tucows.com should be able to help you find the registrar) and point the domain to our servers:
ns1.wordpress.com
ns2.wordpress.com
ns3.wordpress.comGive that a few hours and you’ll be set. You may then also want to cancel the other hosting account if you won’t need it anymore. Cheers :)
