newbie question – paths

  hi, i’m new to wordpress and i have a general newbie question

  i got my hosting, i installed wordpress, now i’m not sure about how path works.

  if i install plugins or themes, wordpress panel will install them automatically into wp-content folder, so i’ll have something like
  wp-content/themes/mytheme/index.php
  but my hosting will read the httpdocs/index.php so what to do?
  should i always copy plugins and themes folders to httpdocs no matter what wordpress does automatically?

  That is not a free hosted WordPress.com blog and we do not provide support for WordPress.org installs here. WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate and have separate logins. If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.
