No access to the website in other countries

    Hello everyone,

    I am located in Germany and have created this site, but unfortunately my colleagues in Rwanda (Africa) can neither log into the account nor open the published site.
    Does anyone have an idea what might be the problem?

    Hi there,

    There have been reports in the past of the Rwanda government blocking WordPress.com sites and this most likely is the case here. I would advise your colleagues to consider a VPN in order to visit your site:

    https://wordpress.com/support/bypassing-internet-restrictions/

    Hello darnelldibbles,

    Thank you very much for your fast reply.
    My colleagues will try to do your approach, but the problem remains that in the future our customers will not be able to reach the website unless they conduct some extra steps. This will disturb the customer journey and also they do not know in advance that they have to use VPN. We will have to look for another platform to build our website.
    But either way, thank you for your help and effort! Please feel free to share any further advices on what we could do.

    Thanks for the update. I’m not sure about what it would take for them to reach out to government officials about this, but if they can, they may be able to find out more about the ban. Either way, I hope you are able to create an accessible platform for your colleagues either way.
