No access to websites based on wordpress in Russia

  Hi!

  My question is about the website krolikdoma.com which is mostly used in Russia and russian speaking countries.

  There is a list of forbidden websites in Russia called Unified Register http://zapret-info.gov.ru/ . There are several blogs created on worpress which were banned by ip by this register and now russian providers of internet refuse the access on the most part of sites based on wordpress (because of the restriction by ip).

  So the users of my site can not access the site due to this restriction (given that my website is not in the register and it does not contain any forbidden information).

  How can we resolve this problem?

  I’m truly sorry but there is nothing that we can do regarding this. We have no control over when countries choose to block us.

  Your site does not have a static IP address or specific server. Instead, requests to load your site are shifted between several IP addresses and servers in order to balance the demand on servers.

  This means that by blocking just two IPs, your ISP has effectively blocked all of WordPress.com, while simultaneously blocking nothing.

  Sometimes your site will be available depending on which IP the load balances are shifting it around to, but it will mostly be offline with two IPs directly blocked. Ironically, the same is true for the sites they are trying to block.
