No color palette option in theme now that self-hosted
-
I just migrated my blog that uses the Karuna theme onto my own host. It import correctly and everything is working great except there are no color palette options in the customization menu. When you click on ‘Color’ The only two options are header text color and background color. So that accent color and text colors are purple and green (yuck!). How can the color palette be changed?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi
I am having the same problem – I started with self-hosted but can’t access colour palettes other than purple/green, while a friend who is on free wordpress.com site has the options.

Hi there,
The colour palettes is a WordPress.com feature that’s built into WordPress.com themes. This isn’t something that exists in themes for self-hosted WordPress, even if it’s the self-hosted version of a WordPress.com theme.
To change the colours or a theme on self-hosted WordPress you’d need to either add custom CSS in the Customizer, or you’d need to edit your theme’s files directly and change the colours there. For help with either of those you can ask in the self-hosted forums here:
