No columns, and widgets on starter template

    hi, I used a starter template to create a website, and edited with Elementor but my website does not contain columns so I can’t drag widgets into it and when you hover over it nothing happens, it also only contains on section for the whole homepage. it’s hard to edit the template if I can’t tap on each block. it only shows me a text editor. I’ve watched multiple videos, and they all have the ability to do so. I was told that they should be three parts, the section, columns and widgets when you hover over them, but I only have sections. I’ve tried multiple templets and its all the same.
