No domain name???

  I bought what I thought was an upgraded site hosting package with domain name and now my developer is telling me I don’t own the domain. Please help. I could swear that’s what I bought.

  Where did you buy that upgraded site hosting package? What is the URL of the domain you bought?

  I bought it straight from WordPress. jasminebrawn.com

  According to whois info that domain hasn’t been registered. Wait for help from a Staff member.

  In addition, I see that the site jasminebrawn.com appears to be a self-hosted WordPress (also called “.org”) site hosted on BlueHost Web Hosting, and not a site hosted on our WordPress.com service.

  To clarify, we are not the only providers of WordPress sites, and BlueHost also happens to offer WordPress sites, but they use a different version of the platform than what we use here.   I would recommend contacting Bluehost support to see if they can help with this issues, and confirm that you have made your purchase with them directly, as I see no purchases on this end.
