No e-mail link option in paypal when setting up a 'buy now' button :)

Hi. I have a feeling you may have had many people asking about this… I am setting up a ‘Buy now’ button on my site (in the sidebar), but am having trouble finding any up-to-date instructions on how to do this using paypal. All the information seems to be outdated. The layout of paypal has changed, but they have also made it so there is no e-mail link option anymore, and this is the one we appear to need. We only have the html text.

While you can sell your work on your blog, no blogger initiated advertising, retailing, or reselling of work created or services provided by other people is allowed on WordPress.com.

There are no restrictions on e-commerce if you set up a self-hosted WordPress.org blog instead of a WordPress.com blog, but there are some added responsibilities.

The link you sent me to set up a donate button is the information I have already found and was unable to use. Paypal has a different account set-up, and the format and options are no longer the same. Is there an updated set of instructions you could send me?

That will only work with the Donate button, not a Buy button. Are you trying to use a Donate button?
