No HTML tab = can't embed video URL

I only have one “user” for my blog, me=administrator, but the tabs I have (Visual/Text) are editor tabs. How can I see and edit in the HTML tab?
I have a video URL I need to embed, and it’s not showing up properly without this tab. (I’ve tried oembed, add media, and just pasting the embed code in the Visual tab, which works when I’ve posted YouTube videos.
I’ve cleared by cache/cookies and changed themes to no avail.
Help???

The HTML tab was actually renamed to Text. It’s the same tab, just with a different name.
At this time, we can only support embedding the videos from the providers listed at http://en.support.wordpress.com/videos/
If you are embedding a video from one of those providers, please make sure that you’re following the accompanying guide.
