No 'like' or 'share' option!

When I sign in to my blog, it doesn’t give people the option to like or share on the ‘home’ page under my post, yet it does on the ‘about’ page.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

So go to Settings->Sharing and enable the share and like buttons on index and other pages as well as individual posts and pages.

Raincoaster, appreciate your help, but I think I didn’t explain myself right! I’ll attempt again. When I just go to my blog…not within wordpress…but just with my link…I have a ‘home’ page and an ‘about’ page! My question is for those who visit my page. On the about page, there are options to share to social networks, as well as ‘like’ or ‘comment’ options. But, on my home page where I posted my first post, none of those options are showing to be available…yet, I checked them off when posting! I don’t understand why others can share, like, or comment on my ‘about’ page, but they don’t have those options on my ‘home’ page! Hope that makes sense!
