Hello
I wish to transfer my domain name: nieora.com to another host. However, I understand that you have locked it. Could you please unlock it and make it public so that I can transfer the domain name.
Please confirm in writing by responding to this message to my email address when you have done so.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there, feel free to unlock your domain by logging into your Domain Management area.
Here is where to unlock the domain:
Just let me know if you need further help.

The DNS who I want to transfer my domain to is telling me I need to complete a transfer acknowledgement form in order for them to process the transfer. However, they are not sending the form to my email address, even though the registrar Wild West Domains – states that my email address is the only email address associated with the domain. Would there be a WordPress email address they could be sending the transfer form to?? I have until 12 August when my domain name expires – I started trying to transfer my domain name well over a week ago to allow enough time to transfer it before it expires but the transfer procedure is making this impossible. I don’t understand why this process has to be so difficult!!

Hi Alex, Any email sent by your new registrar would be sent to the registrant email listed in your domain’s contact information. I just checked and that address is the same one listed on your WordPress.com profile. Please be sure to check the spam filter on that account as sometimes automated emails get stuck there.
Do you mind if I log into your domain manager to look at the status of your domain? If there is a pending domain transfer listed there, you can accept it manually. I would need to change your domain manager password temporarily to do that, but you can change it back afterwards.

The only email that I am aware is listed in my domain’s contact information is: (email visible only to moderators and staff) This is the only email I use. Is there any other email address you can see? I have checked the spam folder and there is no email containing the transfer form from the new registrar there.
Of course – please feel free to log into the domain manager and check the status of the domain. However, I doubt there will be a pending transfer there as the new registrar hasn’t sent me the authorisation form so I haven’t been able to send it back for them to contact WordPress as the DNS or Wild West Domains as the registrar!

Oh for crying out loud – you have redacted the email – so you can’t even check whether that’s the same email you can see in my domain contact information!
Why can’t WordPress provide a phone number so I can actually call you guys! Its so much quicker and easier calling you than spending my life filling out these forms and not being able to communicate effectively with you!!

Don’t worry, I can see your email address just fine. Emails are only redacted for non-staff members for privacy and anti-spam reasons.
Yes, (email visible only to moderators and staff) is the email I see in your domain contact information.
I’ll log into your domain manager and see what I find – I’ll get back to you soon.

Hi Alex, I logged into your domain manager, but as you suspected there are no pending transfers listed. Your domain is unlocked, so a transfer should be possible at this stage.
If the email from your new registrar isn’t getting through to you, it sounds like something you’ll need to troubleshoot directly with them, since the email in all your domain contact fields is (email visible only to moderators and staff), which you’ve just confirmed is the right one. There is a small formatting error showing on your phone number field which you can feel free to go in and change, but that wouldn’t prevent an email getting through.
If there’s anything else I can do to help, please let me know.
