No option in Tools menu to Delete Site. What to do?

  Hello,

  I am trying to delete an old site and URL from my account. I followed the instructions on Emptying a Site, but I don’t have an option in my Dashboard/Tools/ to “Delete Site”. I purchased a domain name thru another domain registrar and used it for this old site. Unfortunately, it’s the same domain that I intend to use for my new website being built with different shopping cart software.

  I was able to delete the Graphics and Media prior to attempting to Empty the site, but I can’t find a way to delete the text on the Responsive Pro theme upgrade I purchased. I need everything deleted from my account, including the URL of the site. Can anyone help me fix this? Thanks.

  There aren’t any sites linked to your username mimart60. What site are you trying to delete, and from where?

  Thanks for your reply. The site URL is http://www.damascussteelknivesplus.com I assumed it was a non self-hosted site because I’m not paying a monthly fee to wordpress. I could be wrong. I did purchase an upgrade to responsive pro and that seems to be lingering after deleting the pages, media, etc. from dashboard.

  That’s a self-hosted WordPress site. You’ll need to contact your website host for more help taking down that site and the URL — based on where you domain is pointed, it looks like your host is Arvixe: http://www.arvixe.com/
