No reason to be rejected with the username that doesn't exist

    Hey, WordPress! I wanted to change my username to ‘theasiandude’ and you guys said that such name has been around since August 2015. However, when I looked up https://theasiandude.wordpress.com/, I got the message that ‘theasiandude.wordpress.com is no longer available. The authors have deleted this site.’ In this case, can I then be allowed to acquire theasiandude.wordpress.com? Many thanks!
