No refund on my old account
-
First of all, I would like to tell you guys that WordPress customer support is the worst. Here is why.
I made an account a few weeks ago. Paid for this account to make it premium. I had my own domain, so i decided to go to wordpress.org to host it myself. I contacted customer support (live chat), to help me with transferring. All went well, so that’s good to hear.
Now, I asked them how to refund. They send me a link to cancel subscription within 14 days. So I did, and I would get my refund within 10 working days. But, I didn’t want to keep my wordpress.com account. So I asked him, would it interrupt the refund process in any way if I deleted my account now? He told me it would make no issues at all, and that the refund process would be fine.
Unfortunately, the refund didn’t go well. 2 weeks later, (10 workdays at least) still no money back. But you know what the best part is? I can’t contact the webchat anymore, to ask for my refund and the process since I deleted my account.
So I made a new account, but I have to PAY FOR ANOTHER PLAN if I would like to contact the web chat in any form. And yes I have proof of the refund which I should get, and no this is not the account I asked the refund for.
So my question is, HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO SOLVE THIS, OR AT LEAST GET AN UPDATE / INFO?

Hi there,
What is the address of the site that you upgraded to Premium? The account you’re using to post here is only 4 hours old, and has never bought anything from us.
Now, I asked them how to refund. They send me a link to cancel subscription within 14 days.
The refund period for plans on WordPress.com is 30 days after purchase, and if you had a chat with one of our support staff, we would have processed your refund for you right there. There doesn’t exist any link we would send you in order to get a refund – that’s simply not how refunds work on WordPress.com, and based on that information you did not chat with one of our staff.
But if you send me the address for the site, or otherwise the username of the account you say you deleted, I can follow up on this for you.

First of all please read the full post before making any assumptions.
Secondly, don’t claim I didn’t talk to one of the support staff members, not customer friendly at all making any claims without even having the details yet. I have a mail of proof that I talked to one of your employees.
The email address the account was on is (email visible only to moderators and staff). I have a mail from wordpress.com verifying the refund. The account name used to be tijdloos1koken.

The refund for the tijdloos1koken account was processed on 25 March.
The ten business days is a guideline – exactly how long it takes depends on the processing times at your financial institution over which we have no control, and in some cases that processing can take longer than ten business days, especially with non-US banks.
If the refund is still not reflecting in your account by next week, please contact your financial institution directly to follow up – in the receipt you received via email when you cancelled is a transaction ID from our payment processor that you can provide to your bank as a reference of the transaction.
-
Did not get a transaction ID. it is an official verification from wordpress.com I can contact my own financial institution but they can’t help me in anyway without a transaction ID.
-
Hmm. We can see the receipt here and it has a transaction ID on it. We’re sending another copy your way so you can use that ID with your bank.
