  Your account is set to auto-renew, but you can disable that from Store -> My Upgrades in your blog’s Dashboard.

  Are the ads a bunch of links from words? If so you have a browser problem because WordPress.COM does not use linked words – there have been several people with “ad problems” that were browser add-in’s and browser hijacks
