"No search terms recorded"
-
Hi all!
I tried using the forum’s search function regarding this topic, but to no avail.
The “problem” I have is that I get a lot (relatively speaking) traffic from search engines. However, most of the time, my stats-page says “No search terms recorded”. I know that search engines withhold a lot of their search terms, but as far as I know, these show up as “Unknown search terms”, and I do get those regularly.
My first guess was that those are some spider-bots or something similar, but it is explicitly stated on https://wordpress.com/support/stats/#search-engine-terms that these do not factor into the stats at all.
I’ve done some tests with friends, but nothing we tried led us anywhere. If anyone knows what’s up with that, any information would be much appreciated.
Thanks!
