No sidebar in widgets

    Hi!

    I’m really struggling with WordPress. I’ve been advised to use it for my blog but I really don’t understand why it’s so difficult to use. I don’t have the sidebar menu in my widgets page when I go on my /wp-admin. I have the footer but not the sidebar. Even if you pay to upgrade (which I did for my daughter’s blog), it’s still not there…

    I’ll be glad to help. The widget area is theme dependent. Some themes make use of a footer space, some a side bar, some use both.

    My advice is to take a look through our learning guide at https://learn.wordpress.com/ It’s really helpful.

    Next, find a theme that has the side bar widget space as desired. Please share your site address that you are working on as well.
