No thumbnail for my posts to facebook

  I have my blog post to facebook automatically. Ever since I restructured my blog and changed the theme, there is no thumbnail accompanying my posts. I have attempted to use the solutions listed above with no change. What can I change? I get more traffic on my blog when there’s a picture, and right now there’s just a blank, white box where the thumbnail should be.

  I am having the same problem. I’m a newbie to WP. And I’ve read some other threads on this but they all get into code language that I don’t understand. What can the non-code user do to fix this?

  And I have changed the size of my photos to make them smaller & more FB friendly for loading. That didn’t work either.

  I’m sorry but we cannot help with this. We have no control over the images that Facebook chooses to display or when they choose to flush their image caches. We really only send them the URL of the post, and they hunt through that for the excerpt and images to include.

  Currently FB won’t show ANY image that I have on my page. Not the thumbnail, not the header, not a gallery photo, nothing.

  Does anyone know if FB changed their logorithms again or is there something I’m doing wrong in WP that is causing this?

  The answer doesn’t change, even when what FB displays DOES change: we don’t have any control over it, and you need to talk to FB.

  I resolved my issue. I hadn’t uploaded a “blavatar,” even though I had other photos uploaded. From there, I just had to go to the facebook debug page. The process is detailed here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/facebook-image-thumbnail/
