no thumbnail when sharing on facebook

No thumbnail is shown when attempting to share link on facebook. I have tried debugging. I have tried changing the featured image. I have tried changing the uploaded images. All to no avail.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I am trying to include a thumbnail when I post the blog itself. A thumbnail image appears when I post one of the specific pages or posts, but not when I just attempt to share the home page. What do you mean by “link to the post on facebook”?

That’s exactly what I meant, but I don’t seem to have access to that group so I can’t see the post you’re talking about. Can you give me a link to the post on your blog that you’re trying to share?
Facebook usually respects the Featured Images we set up, so you could try adding a featured image to your post and asking Facebook to rescrape the URL data here:

After you’ve selected “Debug” two new buttons will be available for you. Please select “Fetch new scrape information”.

Sorry that you weren’t able to access the page. I’m trying to avoid sharing the blog just for a test on my actual facebook page so I shared it from a group page. I’m not having difficulty posting specific pages to facebook. The problem is with posting just the homepage, rather than a specific blog post or page. Is that making sense?
Will this link work? I created a test event to show you how the link appears on facebook.

Thanks so much for doing that. i can see that one. It looks like Facebook didn’t rescrape your page after your blog image was added. I’ve rescraped this and the URL should appear with a picture now.
For future reference, I did this by entering your site’s URL here:

Yep! There’s one more step you need to take. You have to register your desired domain. You can do that here:
Once you go through those steps, your domain may take a few hours to get fully up and running. Then the .wordpress.com will be out of your URL.
