No WordPress Sites?

I thought I had set up a site and a domain name, since I’ve paid for one. What am I missing? Every time I try to see ‘my site’ I get the message that I don’t have any WordPress sites set up yet.
How do I get to the next step, today, preferably?

If by chance your site is using the open source WP software on 3rd party hosting like Bluehost, Dreamhost and the like, you’ll need to log in via your site adding /wp-login.php to the site address. The only reason to log in here on WPcom is if your WP site is connected here via the jetpack plugin and the Manage module is enabled.
In general, for help with a site using the open source WP software, you’ll want to head over to https://wordpress.org/support/ where you’ll find documentation and users who have more experience with the software you are using. If you don’t have a username on the ORG forums you can register one on the top of that page.
Just to clarify, this support forum assists users hosted on the WPcom platform. WPcom (where we are ) and WP are separate entities with different documentation and support forums. More information about the differences can be found here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
