Non-working admin email address needs changing

  Hi all,

  I registered an email address with my site which now no longer exists (long story) (General Settings | Email Address). I need to change it to an existing email address, but it has sent an email for confirmation to the email address that no longer exists.

  What can I do?

  Any help would be much appreciated.
