Norwegian alphabet not working as tag

  Hello again. My problem is not solved yet. And I did not get any “update as soon as possible”. This was in April this year. I want to give up :-(
  This is my message I wrote then:
  I am using the Norwegian alphabet as tags (stikkord), but when i try too make Æ- and Å-tags they will not show and the word starting at Å moves to A. I have managed to make a tag with Ø which is working fine. But why is not Æ and Å working?

  Hi there,

  I just tested this out, and I was able to create posts with tags like Æ and Å without any trouble. Can you please give me a link to a post you published where these tags didn’t work? I’d like to take a closer look.

  I have tryed again and again and again to put in Å instead of A, but the tag changes to A every time.

  I guess it has something to do with “Permalenke”. Å is a-2 and Æ is ae, while Ø is ø, and Ø is working fine.

  Ah, I see what you mean. The permalink for those tag pages can’t support all non-ASCII characters (like Å and Æ), so it will use the closest approximation. However, the tag page itself will display the correct character.

  You might need to go back and re-tag older posts that are incorrectly tagged A instead of Å, to get them to show up on the correct tag page. The issue that made the tag page not work before should be fixed, but if you have trouble tagging the posts with those characters please let me know!
