Not able to access my site
-
We (the two principals of our company) made the mistake of hiring a guy to ‘help’ us with our site. Now neither of us can access the site. When I try to get in, I get this message: Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /homepages/8/d652996200/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/easy-pie-maintenance-mode-dead/classes/class-easy-pie-utility.php:112) in /homepages/8/d652996200/htdocs/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 1340

I don’t see any WordPress.com sites under your account here.
What is the URL of the site with the problem?
NOTE: We can only assist with websites hosted here at WordPress.com. If you’re using the WordPress software, but hosted elsewhere, you will need to reach out to your hosting provider or the WordPress.org community for guidance: https://wordpress.org/support/

Your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted with 1&1.
To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/
WordPress.org has complete documentation for self-hosted/installed versions of WordPress.org at https://wordpress.org/support/ and support at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
With that said, access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel (consult your hosting provider’s documentation for specifics on these), navigate to /wp-content/plugins/ and delete the whole /easy-pie-maintenance-mode-dead/ directory there.
This will remove the plugin causing the problem and restore your site.
Next, I recommend reporting the problem at https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/easy-pie-maintenance-mode/ so the plugin’s developers and support community can help you with this.
