Not Found The requested URL was not found on this server.

Hi – I am getting this message – on my onepage wordpress site.
for the Blog post settings – on another page…
Not Found
The requested URL was not found on this server.Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Posts are not accessible via website – but are still in the backroom/showing on dashboard.
Any suggestions? Hope it is something simple!

I did remove malware from site. Had someone do it. Once that happened I am wondering if it may have led to this issue. Or – if the RPI may be an issue. JSON RPI is off.

I also got this message in site health…
wondering if it is related at all. I am a novice obviously.“The REST API encountered an unexpected result.
The REST API is one way WordPress, and other applications, communicate with the server. One example is the block editor screen, which relies on this to display, and save, your posts and pages. The REST API call gave the following unexpected result: (404) <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC “-//IETF//DTD HTML 2.0//EN”> <html><head> <title>404 Not Found</title> </head><body> <h1>Not Found</h1> <p>The requested URL was not found on this server.</p> <p>Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.</p> </body></html> .”

Hi there!
It looks like you might be using the open-source WordPress software, and hosting your site elsewhere.
Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites hosted elsewhere; we can only assist with sites hosted on our servers. You can read more about the differences between WordPress.org software and WordPress.com here:
https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/.You can look for help at the community forums here: https://wordpress.org/support/forums/.
http://wordpress.org/support/ is also a great resource for sites using the open-source WordPress.org software.
