Not install Smartresponder on blog

    Dear Sir/Madam,

Some time ago we installed your Smartresponder subscription form on our blog based on free WordPress version. A few months ago our web site had been attacked and was brought down. We’ve just remade it on WordPress professional and faced another problem: we cannot install Smartresponder subscriprion form.

What can we do with this?

    Best regards,

    Hi Alexandra,

It sounds like your previous site was self-hosted using the free, open-source WordPress software from WordPress.org. With a self-hosted WordPress site, you can add code for things like the Smartresponder subscription form. However, not all code that can be added to self-hosted WordPress sites can be added here at WordPress.com, for security reasons. You can learn more about the differences between WordPress.org and WordPress.com here: WordPress.com and WordPress.org

There are a couple options for subscription forms here at WordPress.com. You can invite visitors to sign up for updates from your blog using our Follow Blog Widget. That will automatically deliver updates to your followers every time you post.

You can also add a Contact Form to your site to gather more information from your visitors. If you’d like, you can use that to gather contact information so you can contact your visitors in other ways.

Please let me know if you have any questions about that. :)
