not receiving a confirmation email

I am trying to transfer the blog of the 8 year old I nanny for to another address but I never received a confirmation email. Why haven’t I received one yet? I’ve been trying for 15 minutes now.
She accidentally created 2 accounts and this one has the website she wants and even if I change the web address to something else it still won’t let me change her other account to her desired website.
This is something the community can’t really answer since it is a technical error of not receiving an automatic email. I know how to transfer a blog and everything but the system won’t send me an email to confirm.

The registration age is 13 years. And 8 years olds are not allowed to have accounts without parental permission.
I’m sorry but we cannot even begin to help any blogger who fails to provide the exact URLs starting with http:// for the exact blogs they refer to so we can verify where they are hosted and help. Please do that now.

I’m sorry, it didn’t say that in the support section for that about the http:// part. It was created with parental approval and her mom will be posting the link on her facebook. (her mom is a writer and is encouraging creativity). Her email and blog are controlled by her mom but when using the kindle the 3 of us made an error. The link below is the wordpress we made in excess. It was orignally atlantastories.wordpress.com but that is the one she wants for her real account. I have tried changing the website (obviously), transferring the blog and changing the site title but on the other computer it keeps telling me that the website is already taken. Also when going to Dashboard > my sites, the blog name is still atlantastories despite my attempts to change it.

Also when I type in http://atlantastories.wordpress.com it says this website has been deleted, when in reality I just changed the address. Yet I still can’t use this address for the other blog account

I never received an email. That’s my problem though is that sometimes I get emails and other times I don’t. I received the notification of this but not about a private message.

Can you please check the email on the account under the username atlantastory.
I sent the email 3 days ago and it has gone through. Please also make sure to check your Spam/Junk folder as our emails can end up in there.

I checked my email but it is not sending there. This is my issue. I think the first email I tried to use what put in incorrectly and then fixed it but I still don’t get all emails from wordpress
