Not receiving email notifications

  I have checked all of my profile settings and I am not receiving notifications from the blog for which I am an administrator. Please help, I really need to be getting these notifications. They are not anywhere in my spam, social or promotions tabs in my Gmail account.

  Also, when I tried submitting this question the first time and entered the URL of the blog, this site claimed that it’s not a WP blog, but it is. The URL is: http://smartacquiring.com/

  That site doesn’t appear to be hosted on WordPress.com

  Just to clarify, WordPress.com and WordPress are entirely separate. If you need help with a standalone install of the WP software, you need to post over at https://wordpress.org/support/ If you don’t have a username account there, you’ll need to register one.
