Not showing "Category" in post

  Hi, is it possible to avoid having the “Category” appearing within my posts?

  Uncategorized is the default category that appears when you fail to assign Categories to a post. You can set your own default Category http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/categories/#setting-the-default-category
  Alternatively, you can purchase an annually renewable custom design upgrade http://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/ and do the required CSS editing http://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/editing-css/ to remove Category display.
