Not sure how to import from TypePad

  I get to the tools/import screens just fine. Then it tells me to select a file and does not give me the option to copy and paste, but just to browse. Am I to select each post from the past five years, put it on my desktop, and then select the files from the desktop one by one? That could take forever! Help, please??

  You first need to generate an export file from your TypePad account, so that you can select it at this stage.

  TypePad provides instructions on how to create that file here:

  http://help.typepad.com/import_export.html

  Just scroll down to the Export section.
