Not sure if I should transfer domain

    Hello, I can see that you have options for me transfer my domain from another website. I have one with Shopify and I I see how I could but I am wondering if I should. What exactly does that do?

    Hi!

    Functionally, it really makes no difference. Both work equally well and will send users to your site when they enter your domain into their browser.

    What it really comes down to is if you have opinions on the ease of keeping your site billing in one place (one bill from WordPress.com vs a bill from WordPress.com and a bill from your domain registrar). Or if you have a particular reason to want to use an external registrar (perhaps you have many domains and want to keep them all registered in the same place).
