‘not verified’

  I left my comment with my website in WordPress.com comments several months ago, before it was verified. When I discovered it comes up ‘not verified,’ I verified my website. But, the comment still remains with my website replaced with ‘not verified.’ Will the old comment not be updated by this later verification?

  Ah ok, we have no control over how site owners operate their sites.

  I recommend contacting the site’s owner about this.

  Thanks! I’d never known about verification. The other day I discovered this when I visited the nypl blog and saw my old comment w ‘not verified’ in place of laempaf.org. That led me to verify in hopes this would correct. I think I get it now—from now on when I share my now-verified website when it loads up it should appear as is rather than ‘not verified.’ Really appreciate the feedback!
