Nothing found on homepage

  Dear all,

  I recently started working on a blog. Everything worked fine, I published a couple of posts, but now I’ve started seeing “Nothing found” on the front page. I still see my posts under “recent posts” in the side bar, but whenever I try to upload new posts, they just don’t show up on the front page like they used to. I tried Googling the answer, but haven’t found the right solution. My settings are on ‘show latest post’ and I haven’t installed any plugins, I tried switching themes, but that didn;t work either. I really hope someone here might be able to help me :)

  Well, give us the links for some of those posts. starting with http.

  Also NEVER use the New Post button on the grey admin bar. We hear thousands of issues with that.

  Please check again in your Dashboard>Reading>Front page displays that “Your latest Posts” is set to display and not a static page as your front page. More info here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/

  We can’t install plugins on WordPress.com sites. See here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins/

  The only problem with this is that it may give you results for advice that doesn’t apply to WordPress.com. The best place for support information is our own Support site http://en.support.wordpress.com/

  To which button are you referring? I used to add new button from my dashboard

  I seem to have solved the problem myself. I clicked on settings > reading > enhanced > categories. No idea what that does and I don’t remember clicking on it before, but my post reappeared.

  Hmm, now my slider picture seems to have disappeared. Also, I undid the changed setting mentioned in previous post, but the posts are still visible. So no idea what’s going on…

  And it looks like you’ve changed themes from Untitled to Spun, so that would explain the lack of Slider.
