Nothing happens when I change CSS
-
Greetings! I have a problem: I have an active Custom Design upgrade but when I try to change CSS nothing happens. For example when I try to change the content width in my theme nothing happens. Also I need to delete featured images from the posts themselves but to keep them on the main blog page.. Anyway whatever CSS codes I add – nothing happens. Look forward for your help.

Hi there,
One thing to note is that your blog uses the Content Width setting to determine the default size for full-size images, videos, and some shortcode widths when they are inserted into your blog. This option will not change the width of the blog itself. You can read more about this here: Editing CSS
I didn’t see any other CSS code entered for your site. If you are having trouble with custom CSS, you may want to take a look at the CSS tips at the bottom of the Editing CSS page linked above. In particular, using your browser’s developer tools or a tool like Firebug can help you identify the CSS needed to make changes to your site’s design.
If you have specific CSS questions, you can also get help from volunteers and staff in our CSS Customization forum here:
