notice of WordPress vulnerability

  I received an email supposedly from GoDaddy saying that a vulnerability to WordPress has been detected and that my website could be at risk unless I have 3.9.2 version of WordPress. Is that true? If it is what actions can I take? How do I update to a secure version?

  As far as it goes, yes, it’s true. But it does not apply to your blog because you are not using WordPress.ORG software, and WP.com blogs are not hosted on servers that host vulnerable sites AFAIK.

  The short answer is you needn’t do anything. With WP.com you are invulnerable to this particular attack.
