I noticed that I had two slightly different notifications from one site I follow. Usually I just receive a notification in my primary section of my Gmail account. However I actually noticed that I received two different ones. One was in my updates section of my Gmail and it included information regarding another site I might like to check out. It seemed personalized. Can WordPress users send personalized info to certain followers only? Is that why the updates notification included a reminder that I was welcomed to view another website. Seemed like an invite. Just curious how.

Ok hopefully someone knows what the heck is wrong here.
Today I went to click on a page and instead of displaying what it’s supposed to, what it used to display.
It’s saying it’s not found?? Why is This? Did I do something I’m not supposed to do???

Hi there, that Page is still saved as a Draft.
You’ll need to edit it and hit the “Publish” button near the top-right.

Hello yes definitely need help. I no longer can click on the link. I even tried reposting it, it’s not working.
No matter what I do. I no longer see that one under my posts to even select the publish option.
Plus now I’ve probably messed up the whole post. I just want it back the way that it was. I had listed about twelve links that explains the order in which I wrote the posts. And now I’m scared they’re all gone.
I didn’t think I made any changes originally to that post that would even require me to hit publish again I’ve only made it one time and that’s the way that I want to keep it should I just start from scratch and make an entirely new one that looks exactly like that original one because it’s just not working for me. Thank you I really appreciate your help because I just don’t understand WordPress very well -
I do however see it when I look at my stats and I click on it it pulls up what I originally had posted on the site

OMG I think you just literally saved my ass sending that link to publish! The ACLU started evaluation today based on everything I’ve put on my WordPress blog. I had to make sure they had a table of contents or else it might not make sense!!!

By default we sign you up to your own site so you see the same notifications that other folks see. There’s nothing wrong with leaving it that way, but if you wish you can click on the link on the right and remove yourself as a follower so you don’t see those emails, and do not see the site in your WordPress.com Reader

Oh well I have several devices at home. And I just noticed the other day my stats rise whenever I happen to review any of my posts online.
I didn’t wanna be following myself and everyone thinks I just click to increase my numbers.
Not yet anyways.

Did you want your blog posts to show up there? If so, you need to change a setting so that your blog posts display on your site’s front page. https://wordpress.com/support/posts-page/
Or did you want your /contact/about/ page to be your site’s front page? https://wordpress.com/support/pages/front-page/

PS when you are logged in with the Admin account and visiting your own Public site, your visits are not counted in the stats.

No of course I don’t mind! In fact I’ll encourage you to moon light! I’m very confused. I had wanted to display a page(?) I wrote that’s a table of contents of sorts. And I had wanted that displayed very first thing. How can make (email visible only to moderators and staff) appear with my table of contents FIRST??
Is that what the “Home” deal is for? Will it be automatically pulled up when visiting the site?
Plus I wanted to make sure that the posts are in the exact order which is stated on the table of contents. How do I know which posts are going to appear after the table of contents??
I honestly don’t use anything online hardly. I’ve been trying to comprehend but it’s very complicated!
If I could simply click on the page I made, “WANTED to SINCERELY THANK ANYONE WHO Took TIME to READ…” That’s my table of contents page I’d like to be the automatic part of site, then figured out how to display it correctly. Or is a post publish deal?? It’s a page right now. Not sure where anyone can view it. Gosh I need HELP..

You can set any published page to be your homepage. First go here: https://wordpress.com/pages/
Then for the page you want to be your homepage, find the “…” icon on the far left, and click on it to choose the homepage option.
