  hi, i have my own domain and own server on which i’d like to host my site. what i want to know is if it would be possible for me to use wordpress for the template as i do not intend to code from scratch.thanks

  Since you have your own server – head over to WordPress.ORG and get the free WordPress software and install it on your server – they also have the support forum for using your own server
