Number of Posts shown on Blog Page

    Hi. I’ve been having difficulty changing the number of blogs posted on my blog page.

    I am using the free version of wordpress so all the tutorials I can find online don’t help (as the set up/ setting layout and features are different for premium)

    I have gone to Settings > Writting and tried changing the ‘Number of Blogs per page’ but this hasn’t done anything.

    Ideally I would like to create pagination – ie set the limit to post per page to say 6 then allow for the rest to continue on other pages. If not then I wold just like to be able to have all my posts visible on my blog page (rather than only some of them as the limit for max blog pages displayed is set too low)

    I am using Barnsbury Theme. Perhaps this theme has a limit to the number of posts displayed/ doesn’t have pagination feature.

    Hope this all makes sense.

    Hi Oisin,

    You’re not displaying the blog on your homepage; that’s why the settings you’ve changed haven’t done anything.

    The blog posts you see on your homepage can be changed in the block settings on your homepage, here: https://wordpress.com/page/oisin.art.blog/5.

    Here’s more information about the block you’re using:

    If you’d rather only display your blog posts on the homepage, you can go to My Site>Design>Customize>Homepage Settings and change it to display your Recent Posts.
