I know that the wordpress statistics show how many shares were made to a post through the wordpress share button, but I have a post with 52 facebook shares/likes. I know were I linked my post and I counted 32 likes and shares. How can I trace all these shares and likes? And why does the wordpress statistics show only two shares to this post when I made 4 and I saw at least 1 more by a friend? -

You won’t necessarily see all the Facebook likes and shares. If someone clicks on the Facebook link at the bottom of your post to share it to their wall, you can’t necessarily see that exact post (this would be based on whether their your friend on Facebook and whether you have access to their wall). But that’s the number that Facebook gives us in relation to your post.
And why does the wordpress statistics show only two shares to this post when I made 4 and I saw at least 1 more by a friend?
Which place are you looking at for these shares? Can you give me a link? It may be that we’re counting based on account, so your account plus your friend’s account would make two. But I can give you a better answer when I know which place you’re seeing this stat! :)
