  HOw do you clear the name and e-mail address from the required fields after the person has commented. Also, how do you put a message saying (required field) next to the e-mail address field?

  Spammers must love the way this is now, with the commentors comments/information just sitting there. Is the code editable as it’s aordpress.com theme

  What are you talking about? The commenters’ email addresses are only visible to you.

  To have “(required field)” show up you must make the field required; Settings > Discussion: tick option “Comment author must fill out name and e-mail”, click Save Changes.
