Hello, I did a site and I have been able to embed directly youtube links in the past few months but recently, when I paste a yutube or facebook and twitter link directly into the post/page, instead of displaying the video or page, only the link text appears. I did a new wordpress installation on the same cpanel and the issue still occurs. What can I do?

Hi there, it sounds like your site is self-hosted and not hosted here at WordPress.com. Can you give us a link to that site, and also a link to the site where this has been working? I’m very happy to look into this for you.
I’m thinking that you will need to install the Jetpack Plugin, which enables shortcodes for embedding videos and such.

Hello, is there a way I can send the link privately?
I have also installed the jetpack plugin but I get these errors when trying to setup

But you should also not need Jetpack for this – embedding the types of links you’re referring to is supported in the WordPress software you use:
