Off to a bad start

I just created my account today. At some point in the process, a page appeared that had a box to enter a title and a box to enter a post. I began typing and typed for about 20 minutes. There was a Finish button at the bottom of the page. I clicked it. When the next page came up there was no trace of my post. Gone, can’t be found. I’m done playing with WordPress for today.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I found the specific problem. I went back a few pages and noticed that in Step 6 of the setup process, WordPress encourages you to create your first post. Yippee! There is a tab at the bottom that says Publish Post (very faint colors on my screen) and then a big bold FINISH button below that. Probably should have hit the Publish Post button rather than the FINISH button. Still frustrating and I’m calling it a bug. Please save future newbies the frustration and redesign Step 6. Thanks! (note, I’m now being very cautious of which button I hit to submit this comment)

Just a suggestion – I always hit the Save Draft button as soon as I get a title for a blog Post – that should start the timed auto save – and I also save early and often

Here is a screen capture from the page (Step 6 @ WordPress.com):

That’s the quick post screen. You would do better to post via the dashboard. And I wonder if this is the same problem that a lot of people are currently having with the post error messages.
