Offline Edit Query

    Hi there,

    I did search the FAQ but still found this confusing. I’m not a computer person and would rather not do anything too convoluted or learning-curvish if possible.

    I have a band website (www.branchesarc.com) which is powered by wordpress. Our new CD is about to come up. I’d like to build a new site in its entirety and on the release date just do a one click thing and bring up the new website.

    Is it possible to do that really easily? If so, how – in simple steps? I do love wordpress but feel inclined to change to a different website tool if I can’t find something real easy. Not to complain – it’s just that I have so much to do already!!

    Any help would be really appreciated.

    Unfortunately, no.

    I recommend just working on the design live, so that it’s ready to go for the launch.

    You could make the whole blog Private until then, but I wouldn’t recommend that as folks will be wanting to check in for news.

    So you mean that people would kind of see it developing as it the week go by? It’d be a shame to lose the suprise factor but if it saves my tearing my hair out. maybe it IS the way to go… Thanks for the reply :)
