  Good morning. I had an old blog votebrianmccarthy.com where I left it expire a few years back and server IP address could not be found.
  How do I go about resurrecting this site to take the blogs and information off it.

  Hi Brian –

  That domain expired some time ago. Any content that was attached to it would still be available to you through the free site address that connected the domain to your WordPress.com account. With out knowing that free site it will be hard to track it down.

  If the site was using a separate hosting provider and the open source WordPress.org software, you are probably out of luck. Unless your hosting provider still has a copy of the site. Typically they delete that when you stop paying for hosting.

  Do you know which version of WordPress you were using? Our managed hosting environment at WordPress.com or the open source WordPress.org software?
