Hi there,
I took a look at your blog and found this blog post from August 19, 2011:
Here’s the shortlink for that blog post:
Is that the post you were looking for? If not, do you remember the post title or some of the contents of the post? (That information will help me track down what happened to it.)
-
No, that’s not it. This post was about a person named Brian Leiter verbally attacking a person named Linda Alcoff regarding something she published called the Pluralist’s Guide. My guess is that Brian Leiter asked that Word Press take down this post. Can someone do that?

Hi there,
I checked your blog’s records, and I see that you published a post (originally at the URL http://gonepublic.wordpress.com/2011/08/18/brian-leiter-is-x3/ ) on August 18, 2011. However, you then trashed the post on September 21, 2011. When a post is sent to the trash, it is then permanently deleted 30 days later: Trash
There are ways for someone to ask us to remove content that violates our terms of service, and you can read more about that here: Dispute Resolution & Reporting
However, in this case our records show that you just deleted the post after it was published.

Thanks. I just went back through my e-mail from that time and I see why I deleted it. Thanks again for your help.

You’re very welcome. I’m glad I could help sort that out for you! If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact us again.
