Old sites linked that no longer exist

On the WordPress.Com Dashboard → My Blogs. There are a whole host of old linked websites of mine which no longer exist and I don’t own the domain names anymore. There is no option to remove them from the dashboard. Why is that? And how do I get rid of them?
