Old Tag Line showing up

    Hi,
    I changed the tag line on my blog and when I’m directly on the site it shows up properly but when I add the link to social networking sites or google my blog, it displays the old tag line. I cleared my cookies and cache. How can I ensure that only the current tag line is displayed?

    Hi there,

    Information about your blog (like the tag line) is saved or cached by individual social networking sites and search engines, so it may take some time for those sites to update the information they have on their end.

    Sometimes, you can speed up that process. For example, Facebook has a debugger tool that helps refresh the information they have saved. I entered your site in the Facebook debugger to refresh it here: https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/

    Also, using webmaster tools with search engines can sometimes help speed along the process with them. We have information about how to set up webmaster tools here: Webmaster Tools

    However, in the end it can take a number of weeks for sites and search engines to update the information they have saved. We let them know that you’ve updated your blog, but we can’t control what information they choose to display on their end. Please let me know if you have any other questions about that. :)
