Old WordPress.com account messed up with Hostgator and wordpress.org
-
I am having huge issues with getting my site up. I have my domain with namecheap, its being hosted by HostGator, and I think i’ve made a huge mess of things. I was under the impression I didn’t have to pay for domain mapping, now everytime I try to log into mydomain.wp-admin, it says i need to pay for domain mapping.
If anyone can help me out…that would be great. I think im just making it worse as in my old wordpress.com account now theres 3 pages with my domain and different mysite.wordpress.com etc..
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I’m seeing tavishgilmour.com point to your self-hosted WordPress site. If you are still getting redirected to your WordPress.com site, you might try clearing your browser’s cache.
Also, if you just recently changed the nameservers for tavishgilmour.com, it can take 24-48 hours for domain/DNS changes to propagate throughout the internet. It typically happens faster than that, but it really depends on your ISPs update frequency.
