older posts button present, where there are no older posts!

  Hi I am using the spun theme for wordpress, and I have planned my home page to have 10 posts in the greyed out circles. The home page is displaying the default 10 posts, there are no other older posts, and yet the ‘older posts’ button features anyway. Is there something I have missed? I would like to remove the older posts button please, as it is redundant!

  Hi there,

  Thanks for reporting this! Our developers confirmed that this is happening on all themes, not just the Spun theme, and they are looking into the issue. Sorry for the trouble with that — I’ll get you an update as soon as I have more information from our team.

  You’re welcome! :) Our team is still trying to resolve this, but I have a temporary fix for you:

  Under Settings > Reading in your site’s dashboard, next to Blog pages show at most you can enter any number greater than 10. It looks like the “older posts” button will show if you enter the exact same number as the number of posts you have (so if the number is 10 and you have 10 posts) but if you enter a larger number in that setting the “older posts” button should disappear.

  Please let me know if that works for you!
