OMG why is it so hard to add a header image???

  Hi guys, this is getting ridiculous, we’re not all tech whiz, and I cannot believe that I spent 30 minutes trying to add an image to my blog’s header??? Why is there absolutely ZERO options to add a photo behind the title of my blog? There is just a black square there now and no matter what I click I can’t seem to find a way to add a photo!!???

  How are you trying to add the header? And where are you seeing a black square? I don’t see anything like that on http://theanalogqueen.wordpress.com/

  Instructions for adding a custom header can be found in your theme’s setup instructions at https://wordpress.com/theme/independent-publisher-2, and also at https://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-header-image/:

  Go to My Site ->Design ->Customize ->Header Image. Click on Add New Image, and drag-and-drop the image you want from your computer into the browser, or click Select Image to search for the image you want on your computer.

  Note that for best results this theme recommends a custom header image that’s 1400 pixels wide by 600 pixels high.
